Whole-wheat pasta dough
All purpose flour 1 cup
whole-wheat flour 1 cup
salt 1/2 tsp.
large eggs 2
water 1/4 cup
olive oil 1 tbsp.
Combine first 3 ingredients in large bowl. Make a well in centre.
Add remaining three ingredients to well. Mix until dough begins to come together. Turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead until ball forms. Wrap with plastic wrap and let stand for 30 minutes. divide dough in half use lots of flour to avoid sticking and cut into noodles.

I finally have a pasta maker. It has fallen apart on the third use (that's what I get for buying cheap?) so I'm waiting to buy the attachment to my kitchen aid mixer one day. :)
Have you ever picked up one of these? I did these with my girls when they were small so I needed to get one made for Mikhail.
It didn't turn out real well but I'm still happy with it. I love all the details of their hands. I pulled out Emma's from when she was about the same age and it totally brought me back to when she was little. Here's Mikhail's...

My beloved don't like paste... it's such a shame 'cause me and my son LOVE IT!!! I never made the pasta myself though... The number book for Mikhail is AWESOME!!! Such a cute pictures, almost feel sorry for the fact that my boy can count... Have a happy weekend Tania!
I absolutely LOVE the Number Book! I may have to lift the idea for my 3 year old grandson.
